Conor Garland, a rookie forward for the Arizona Coyotes, extended his goal-scoring streak to four games on Saturday night, and he accomplished it in the most excruciating way possible by getting smacked in the face while he was scoring the goal.

Adam Larsson, a defenseman for the Edmonton Oilers, laid him out with a cross-check at the beginning of the second period, when the Oilers were on a power play. While he was in the process of rising up, a shot from the defenseman for the Coyotes, Jordan Oesterle, hit him in the face and went into the net.
